CityFibre recently had an All Hands meeting in Coventry where the CEO, Greg Mesch, took the opportunity to gather the workforce together for the first time since the pandemic.
Charlie Emerson, Military Engagement Lead, arranged for the members of the internal Armed Forces network to meet for a small networking session and a photograph – this is the first time that the network have met face-to-face. The Armed forces network was set up during the pandemic to bring our veterans and reservists together for like-minded conversation and networking opportunities. As CityFibre are recognised by the Armed Forces Covenant with a Silver Award; this means that CityFibre pro-actively demonstrate that service personnel / armed forces are not unfairly disadvantaged as part of our recruitment process.
Additionally, we show our support to our reservists by providing 10 days additional paid leave and have internally publicised a positive HR policy for our Reserves.
