To date, the MOP working group has been reviewing what guidance is currently available to the industry including pre-existing information from HAUC and manufacturers. We have identified a need for further information aimed at organisations but also operative level as the current content can be overwhelming. The group have now been assigned specific topics to research, and develop further guidance on, for incorporation into a SHiFT guidance document. This document will include the types of boards and covers available, their suitable application, recommended training levels, inspection and maintenance requirements, risk assessment considerations and storage requirements. The group have established a roadmap which also plans for us to explore guidance on community liaison and engagement ahead of works taking place, as well as reviewing innovative solutions with some of the leading industry suppliers.
